Rich Kerwin - President
My favorite days are spent helping people enjoy the best ski hill in the world, Revelstoke Mountain Resort! I’ve been volunteering with the Revelstoke Adaptive Sports program since 2015, certified CADS Snowboard Level 2 Visual Impairment and ASD/CI (Neurodiversity).
When I’m not on the hill, I’m a math and science private educator for 2nd grade to 1st year university students, 1-on-1 or in small groups. I’ve taught courses at Okanagan College and am contracted by BC’s online schools to provide specialized learning, helping students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, dyslexia, and dyscalculia. I work with local athletes from the Revelstoke Snowboard Club, Revelstoke Alpine Ski Club, Revelstoke Nordic Ski Club, Revelstoke Grizzlies hockey, and Special Olympics to ensure they excel at their academics too.
In my spare time I snowboard, wakesurf, mountain bike and play board games. See you out there!

Jeff Scott - Vice President
Jeff Scott’s heart lives in a pow turn, as brief as they are. A snowboarder at his core, he faced a devastating turning point in 2010 after a spinal cord injury— he became a skier. Instead of stepping back, he pushed forward, co-founding The Live It! Love It! Foundation and pioneering adaptive backcountry skiing. A multi-sport athlete and multi-time national medalist, he is also vice president of Revy Adaptive. Jeff continues to break trail, knowing that adventure is best shared and that what you do—and who you do it with—can change lives.

Ben Thompson - Treasurer
I've been sit skiing since 2006, and skiing has always been a big passion of mine. I had the chance to compete on the BC Para-Alpine Ski Team and the Canadian Para Alpine Ski Team, which was an unforgettable experience. After stepping away from racing, I got involved with BC Adaptive Snowsports and worked my way through the CADS instructor levels. One of my favorite things to do now is coach at the annual Big Mountain Ski Camp — hands down the best para-alpine ski event I've ever been a part of! As a board member for the Revelstoke Adaptive Sports Program, I'm stoked to help make skiing more inclusive and accessible for everyone.

James Eger - Head Coach
Hi all! I'm James and have been involved with RADs since the early days of its existence as both an instructor and a board member. I love this program and its mission! It's been amazing watching the program grow over the years and all the wonderful people that surround it.
While my passion is teaching lessons and working directly with the participants, over the last few years I've had to step back into more of an advisory role because of family and business obligations. I will however continue to support RADs in every way possible to continue to see the program grow.

Chris Miller - Director at Large
I was born in 1974 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. After a year we moved West to the mountains.
I grew up ski racing and biking in Smithers, BC. was addicted to adrenaline and anything that went fast. I moved to Revelstoke as a newly certified electrician in 2001 to follow my interest in skiing the unrivaled deep snow, tree skiing. I had an opportunity for a four month job, 24 years ago. As the saying goes, Revelstuck!
In 2014, I suffered a brain stem stroke. This took away my balance and left me with many physical disabilities. I have learned to live life, focussing on all the things that I have and can still do, not what I’ve lost! I don’t get out on the snow much anymore, but my love for cycling is still very strong.
I now ride recumbent ICE trikes. I have one that is made for the roads and another that has fat tires, which I can ride year-round on and off-road. Both bring me great joy.
When I am not riding my trikes, or hanging out with my amazing 13-year-old daughter, you may find me working in the schools as an Education Assistant. I love to spend time with the children, and I feel it is my opportunity to give back. So many have given me so much!
I got involved with Revelstoke Adaptive Sports Society because I saw an opportunity to learn and advocate about the offering of sport for all. I know of the happiness to every individual involved.
